How to Notice Bluffing Guide

Telling whether or not your opponent is bluffing can be a very hard thing in poker. There are lots players in the world who would give anything to be able to tell this but it is unfortunate that not everyone has that ability. You can only imagine what would happen if you were able to tell what someone was thinking when you are playing poker. There are a number of signs that can tell you whether or not someone is bluffing. If you are careful, you will be able to do this even when you are playing poker online. It is important to note that there are several means through which you will be able to tell whether someone is bluffing and some of them are so common you will wonder why you never noticed.

One of the most common things that someone will do when they are bluffing is to make frantic distractive attempts at you. You can note this through their impatience and they will always be in a hurry to make you try a move. If someone exhibits any of such traits, you can be sure that they are bluffing.

Another thing that you should take note of is someone who is always talking about how they have had a run of bad luck. Be very careful of such persons. This is especially so when you notice that they have been raising pots while they are at it. These are some very simple signs that should turn your head the other way.

You also need to take note of how players are raising. This is especially so with regard to the pots. Take care when a player keeps raising before a flop. Such a player is highly likely to be bluffing. Besides that, you should also be wary of a player who follows this up and raises after a flop. If you find yourself in such a situation, be careful not to call. However, if you are certain that you can win the game with the hand that you currently have, you can go ahead.

When you are playing poker you have to be very keen on your surroundings. You need to be very careful about players who usually sit out then as soon as the cards are being dealt they seek to re-enter the game. Such players are also highly likely to be bluffing, and if you can take note of this you will be in a better position. Besides that you also need to watch out for how such a player reacts as soon as they enter the game of play. If they are so eager to raise or even if they are so fast to call, such a player will probably be bluffing. The reason for this is that if someone is in such a hurry, they are seriously not having a good hand. Someone with a good hand would not want to pull such a move so fast.
